Day 4 Pt. II March for Life

The March for Life  had the biggest crowd to date.
An estimated 300,000 were present to speak out against the leading killer the world over: abortion.

Pictures cannot capture the amount of people present.
Amazing! And so many of them youth.

Giuliano carries the statue of Our Lady of Fatima as we join a Traditional group from Virginia.

After the March we headed to the White House. We could not get close, but did manage
to get a few decent pictures.

We were all sufficiently wiped out at the end of the day...
Tired, but all agreed it was an amazing and inspiring day.

  1. It is so wonderful you are all there and able to be part of such an important event. The 5th and 6th graders and I watched some of the rally and march ... kept our eyes peeled for your maroon sweatshirts and the nuns' habits, but couldn't find you in the crowd. The students were so excited they wanted to "march" around the classroom. :-) Some even made their own little signs to hold and to attach to their desks. :-) We decided our best way to participate was to "march" into to chapel for Mass ... a holy rally, offered with prayers united with yours for an end to this great evil in our country. Enjoy the rest of your trip. God bless and Mary keep you all. Sr. Marie Vianney

  3. God BLESS all of you and ALL of the marchers. "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing." You are indeed doing something!! Thank you for representing the small souls. "Faith of our Fathers, Mary's prayers shall win our country back to thee and through TRUTH that comes from God, our land shall then indeed be FREE!" You all look so wonderful. God bless all of you. With prayer and sacrifice, Sister Mary Genevieve and the 4th-7th graders at MIQ School.

Day 7, the Arctic Blast

Today was by far the coldest day of the trip. We bundled up, added layers, and tried to avoid walking. We began with a tour of the Ca...
